Movers Pro: From Customer Enquiry to Moving-Day Records
Explore a removal-firm workflow linking inventory, surveys, quotes, scheduling and crew records in the private Movers Pro preview.
In this guide
A removal job becomes harder to manage when the quote uses one inventory, the office diary another and the crew a printed list nobody updated. Movers Pro is our business app for a connected enquiry-to-job workflow. It remains a password-protected preview and is not yet open for public use.
Start from the customer’s brief
Review inventory, quantities, access information, dates and specialist requirements before assuming an enquiry is ready to quote. Use questions and a survey to resolve gaps. A structured brief reduces re-entry, but the firm still needs to assess whether the job is feasible.
Customers prepare their side in Move Planner, the matching customer app. The existing removal-survey guide explains what makes the information useful.
Prepare a quote the office reviews
The preview allows firm rate cards to populate a draft quote. The office checks it before sending. Review staffing, vehicle assumptions, packing, extras and the firm’s VAT treatment rather than treating calculated fields as a confirmed operational plan.
Acceptance relates to a particular quote version. Later variations the customer accepted remain distinct from that agreement. Do not silently amend a sent figure and expect the customer to know what changed.
Schedule resources with their constraints
Assign crew and vehicles to the job and review the schedule. Vehicle compliance information and booking warnings help the office identify problems, including changes that affect future bookings. Unknown payload is not the same as a confirmed sufficient payload.
These checks support administration; they do not replace a firm’s vehicle inspections, safe loading assessment or legal obligations. The software cannot turn incomplete records into confirmed roadworthiness.
Give crew the relevant information
Crew need practical item, access and job information. They should not receive every office financial or complaint record simply because they work on the move. The preview provides role-specific views and moving-day milestones.
Collection and delivery records can include signatures tied to the version shown. Where hours are corrected, the original entry remains identifiable. A documented correction is more useful than an overwritten timestamp that nobody can explain later.
Review before calling the job complete
Check the delivered inventory, exceptions, sign-off and unresolved matters. Reconcile recorded money and actual costs separately from the contract. An estimated profit is not evidence of actual job profitability.
Our job-profit guide explains that distinction. For customer-facing evidence, see moving-day signatures.
Decide whether it fits your operation
Movers Pro is in private preview and not yet open to the public; contact us for pricing and availability. It does not yet provide Stripe card collection, accounting synchronisation, SMS, live GPS, route optimisation or warehouse storage management. Check those requirements before considering it alongside established software.
Can it replace every system in a removal business?
Not at its current stage. Assess the workflow against your firm, integrations and support needs, including the remaining launch and accountant reviews.
